Hotel Vuorikelo
Hotel Vuorikelo is located Muurame, only 20 minutes from Jyväskylä.
We are in the middle of The Lakeland Finland and conveniently located along the way:
3.5 hours from Helsinki, 2 hours from Tampere, 4.5 hours from Oulu, 3.5 hours from Turku.

Hotel Vuorikelo is located at the top of Riihivuori in the same yard as the skiing center, Riihivuori theater and restaurant Riihikelo. The rooms have ready-made beds and towels, a TV, a fridge, a kettle, tea and coffee, and a private shower and toilet. Enjoy comfortable, pre-made hotel beds (210 x 100 cm or 200 x 90 cm) featuring a 10 cm mattress topper.
Shared kitchen and a sauna are available to hotel guests every day. There is plenty of free parking space and an electric car charging point near the rooms. Pets are welcome for an additional fee.

We do not have an on-site reception. Instead, the keys can be found in a key safe next to your room door. You will receive the code for the key safe via email prior to arrival. Check-in is flexible, and you are welcome to arrive at any time after 4:00 PM.
Arriving by car is very convenient. You can pull up right in front of your room door to unload. Parking is located in designated spaces 8 meters from the building. There is plenty of parking space, and it is free of charge.
A Virta EV charging station is located in the hotel yard.
Rooms are accessed directly from the outside, with step-free entry (no stairs).

The bathroom is accessed from the hallway and is equipped with standard toilet and shower facilities. Refrigerators are positioned in the rooms at a height of 0–XX cm.
Check-out Check-out time is by 12:00 PM (noon). Upon departure, please return the key to the key safe.
Shared Facilities
Hotel guests have access to separate men's and women's saunas and a shared kitchen. The lounge area features a TV, toys, a book-sharing point, outdoor games, and charcoal. A charcoal grill is available in the backyard.
The kitchen is equipped with tableware, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a microwave, a stove, and a small oven.
Shared facilities are accessed from the outside via the kitchen entrance. The kitchen door opens with an electronic lock—you can find the door code in your arrival instructions email.
